Our Story
From Mombasa to Global
ZXY International was founded in 2001 by Abby Jamal, but our roots go back to the 1980s when Abby first began sourcing apparel from Bangladesh for UK markets.
ZXY Founded
Abby Jamal establishes ZXY International in Dhaka, Bangladesh, creating the first comprehensive sourcing company with a mission to redefine global sourcing standards.
First Ethical Code
Published first Ethical Code of Conduct, establishing foundational ethical guidelines for all operations.
Compliance Infrastructure
Launch of in-house Compliance Team & Laboratory for quality control and compliance testing.
Design & Innovation
Establishment of in-house Design & Innovation Teams with studio and sampling unit.
First Organic Cotton
First production of fully traceable Organic Cotton & Fleece products.
Digital & CSR Transformation
Investment in 3D Design platforms (Optitex & CLO), inauguration of 7 STREAMS Foundation, and EcoVadis partnership.
GOTS Certification
